Once in A While
It's started with a little, because you were numb and bored. Now you want more, till the whole thing consumes you...
This is not for kids, and not for me, either. Sorry.

Once in a while
She don't want to call you Speaking on the telephone And once in your life She don't want to know you You look around The one you found She is gone And that's all the time that it takes For a heart to turn to stone The sweeter the wine The harder to make the break You hear something About someone You thought you'd known So baby don't cry Like there's no tomorrow After the night there's brand new day And there'll be no pain And no more sorrow So wash your face And phone my place It'll be okay And that's all the time that it takes For a heart to beat again So give me a sign That a lover makes You look around, The one you found is back again |

If you are satisfied with husky, gorgeous voice Steo has offered above, you are more than welcome to leave this space now. I personally believe you wouldn't bother to know a thing about this show if you're not up for sexual exploration. Enjoy a beautiful day with your friends and family.
If you don't mind me lecturing on gender version.2 (I say this because I think I've done it once before, on "Te Garder Pres De Moi" article), please proceed.
As I've tried to find what the show is all about, which wouldn't take too much effort by just seeing some of its images, I've come across a very well-written article posted on the fan site. ( A post from "ROCKY HORROR" last retrieved Nov 2021)
At first I didn't know why this site contained a negative review like this
at all, and I still don't understand. Maybe they just want to accept
different views. If the article doesn't sound convincing enough to you then you can take
a look at their other posts which are for the fans, so I figured it would only be fair to recommend this article.
The author argues how this show glorifies mindless sex that accompanies violence by depicting the hero and heroine as white bread,
uninspiring couple who should be enlightened through the liberation of their sexuality, wouldn't constitute a story worth telling.
Boring couple who has no clue how to make the best of ones' lives... Well, if you are not bored with each other or with yourselves, why in the world what others think of you couple would be even a problem?
I know some venture into this thing for fear that unless you are experienced, you'll be considered unattractive. However, is it even a wise choice? Behaviour driven by fear?
Give her a wrestler figure instead so that she'll break free of social construction & learn how to fight!!
There's no such thing as female role!! They say.
If you want horror stories, throw gender in them
Could the world without gender a more peaceful place? It could be so! The opposite sex won't understand you,
but hurt you, curse you etc..... why would you need it, if all you want is longevity if not immortality,
which can be one day made possible by asexual reproduction through technology people value
over our biological realities. Just like humanoid aliens in The Rocky Horror Show, you won't
even need a life in order to live (have your way)!
The background image of this blog post is the most famous piece from the series of six pictures painted by William Hogarth. If you are not familiar with the rest, you can check this wiki page to learn the consequence of this superficial marriage for money and social status. Yes, it is a horror story with murder and disease colored by immorality, which can rival The Rocky Horror Show...
Below is a popular song sung by various artists. This liberated girl is kind enough to warn her fellow female friends telling how boys can destroy your dreams by failing to please you... yet it is clear that she is having a love-hate relationship with romance. She could also be asking for trouble by hating boys for being a realist!

Here to remind you
Here to remind you Here to remind you Here to remind you... What do you get when you fall in love? A guy with a pin to burst your bubble That's what you get for all your trouble I'll never fall in love again I'll never fall in love again What do you get when you kiss a guy? You get enough germs To catch pneumonia After you do, he'll never phone ya I'll never fall in love again I'll never fall in love again Don't tell me what's it all about 'Cause I've been there And I'm glad I'm out Out of those chains, those chains That bind you That is why I'm here to remind you What do you get when you fall in love? You get enough tears to fill an ocean That's what you get for your devotion I'll never fall in love again I'll never fall in love again Don't tell me what's it all about 'Cause I've been there And I'm glad I'm out I'm out of those chains, those chains That bind you That is why I'm here to remind you Here to remind you Here to remind you Here to remind you... What do you get when you fall in love? You only get lies and pain and sorrow So for at least until tomorrow I'll never fall in love again I'll never fall in love again |
This is indeed scary. You get nothin' but disease.
It also sounds like an addiction
Are you scared? I guess I am.

Human > Gender ≠ Sexism
-Suddenly, if your kid draws a rainbow, he or she is an LGBT supporter-
Just like how "normal" couple with prudishness can be depicted as someone who cannot catch up with the era of progressiveness, non-supporters of the LGBT movement are considered lost in the feudal era. To be honest, I feel some (which include me, neither for nor against it) are uncomfortable not so much with the queerness itself, but with the fact that these gender activists, which include feminists, identify themselves so much with their (unique) sexuality and often illustrate theirs as the superior. They should know there are some homosexuals who want to keep their sexual matters private, just like many heterosexuals and don't wish to be involved in these social movements. After all, the matters relating to private areas are strictly private, as its name suggests. Simply put, TMI.
If one's sexual orientation is more important than nurturing kids as human beings, then, I don't know anymore what makes adulthood other than sexuality which these gender ideologies glorify so much.
It's just that there can be all kinds or people... some are more feminine or masculine than others, regardless of their gender. Isn't that enough? Anything with social aspects is being sexualized because people want to turn anything into human rights.
Back in the day, in many societies, women were able to breastfeed in public, change diapers, etc. People don't want that anymore, but somehow skimpy fashions are praised for being sexy. It's either platonic love (pure) or porn (dirty, guilty). It's insane. There should be a middle ground, which represents our multifaceted biological realities that require comprehensive understanding.
This materialization of sexuality sure is a byproduct of the technology which has made death and birth
nearly invisible in our daily lives. (Something that can be controlled, something only happens
at segregated spaces, notably at hospitals. etc.)
Teach kids who may not even know what they want or need due to little life experience sexual liberation and expose them at risk of becoming either sexual offender or victim, Science has made "birth-control" possible to a greater degree, but that still hasn't changed the fact that women's bodies are very delicate, which can be greatly affected by both physical and emotional environments, let alone the biological fact that sexuality is primarily for the reproductive system. By the time some girls find they've mistreated their bodies (and their souls), it can be too late.
Many kids may start to believe unless they are sexy, they can never love someone/be loved; Deep bonds-the opposite sex's trust and affection- can be realized by sexual intimacy only. Yet these adults are not responsible for it because they only teach kids freedom, and how to utilize your "sexual rights" so that they can enjoy their lives to the fullest.
Spreading a sexual mess in society and let kids take care of it... It's like asking your
kids to go work for you couple because you and your partner want to play.
This shames me, and I want to stay away from this sexual craziness as much as I can.
Lastly, some activists argue like one gender can replace another, which I don't believe. The endless effort to better understand the opposite sex is what makes us human IMHO. Genderlessness can't be a solution in that it will only make you a jellyfish (some of which can literally rejuvenate and revive!).
People are obsessed with being right
There is no denying the concept of human rights have helped people become more aware of
their plight and provided means to overcome the miseries to a certain extent.
Yet the downside of the human rights movement is often underestimated, IMHO.
A few of which are materialistic view of the world and utilitarian attitude toward life. People can be egoistic claiming they are entitled to just about anything, as long as you got power sustained by materialistic wealth.
Storks may disillusion children as much as Santa clause would, when they discover the truth, but in the old times the folklore was not entirely baseless as it reflects the people's understanding of the world. There seem to be quite a few theories out there, one of which is a German myth that explains storks collect the human souls resting at swamps to hand them to the Goddess who in turn give life to the newborns by sending the souls back to the earth.
The birds' behaviour of searching for foods at swamps is associated with the birds' sacred mission to be the Goddess's errand which is based on the people's belief that after death, souls will rise to the sky only to shower with rains to become a part of swamps.
Sure, it's not scientific enough, but a beautiful, imaginative myth like this should be valued
on different criteria for it illustrates people's humbleness and appreciation for
Nature that gives life to them and their environment.
Speaking of property right, in my country, Japan, there are still some areas such as forests and
mountains left that are for the God(s) where
people can't enter (In some cases even priests can't). Many Japanese also refer to their newborns
as "A gift from Heaven".
The expressions like this show that they believe they should be responsible and respectful towards life in general,
which they cannot possess, no matter how legitimate their acquisition can be.
I sense humanity in the stories like this, but honestly not quite so in the arguments many social activists make. Humanity doesn't need to be anthropocentrism, IMHO. Poetic, imaginative visions can add life to monotonous, one-size-fits-all understanding of the world that is utilitarianism.
Catch me if you can
...and the pressure to be happy
The ultimate goal of human rights is to make you happy. If it doesn't, what are all these rights for?
So "prove you're happy in SNS, people!!" seems to be a mega campaign in this world. Unless you are happy,
life is meaningless and isn't worth living.
Naturally, some people feel left out, as there even seem to be social studies on how the pressure
to be happy imposed by society make people otherwise.
So what if you throw away all of your weapons and just surrender? Give way to all those who're busy pursuing happiness... or, at least try to meet each other half way in order to avoid knocking into each other?
When you claim rights, it leaves me with the impression that you have to stab something with your sword that is your majestic right. It intrinsically has an assertive, aggressive nature that offends those regarded as oppressors who can equally be victims at the same time. Couldn't the simplest thing like kindness can be a better, peaceful solution?
All you need to do is be kind to people every day, which I see what Steo had been doing, whose sexuality I haven't really cared. Surely as a celebrity he had to take more pains, but almost all of us have traumas or sense of inadequacy that stems from gender regardless of one's sexuality and most of the time, it's an extremely lone fight, as everyone is unique inside and out. He's not special in that regard, at least that's how I see it.
Finally, let me present one of the most useful tools provided by the Beatles to summarize what you see or hear on TV, on the internet every day. Maybe 90% of the contents can be magically translated as this. This music is gold, as silence is golden. If this post of mine can be the subject, too, let it be...
All through the day / I me mine, I me mine, I me mine / All through the night / I me mine, I me mine, I me mine / Now they're frightened of leaving it / Everyone's weaving it Coming on strong all the time / All through the day / I me mine ...All I can hear / I me mine, I me mine, I me mine / Even those tears / I me mine, I me mine, I me mine / No-one's frightened of playing it / Everyone's saying it / Flowing more freely than wine / All through the day / I me mine...
Go ahead, move on people...take whatever it takes to be right...

Just because the opposite sex can be a mystery, it may take a lot of courage to be in love.
